{old faithful}
August 20, 2010 at 12:12 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentWe hung out in Napa a couple of weekends ago and got to check out Old Faithful. Apparently, there are 3 “Old Faithfuls” in the world… We visited the one in Calistoga in the northern part of the Napa Valley.
Some interesting “old faithful” facts:
-to be an “old faithful” geyser it must perform at regular intervals. This one shoots every 40 mins.
-the water from the geyser comes from an underground river that flows over hot magma
-the geyser acts as an earthquake warning
